Alan Hutton has confirmed he is desperate to leave Aston Villa after being frozen out due to his high wages.
Villa boss Paul Lambert yesterday claimed he had been unable to find a loan deal for the Scotland defender, who earns £40,000 a week.
But Hutton claims Villa blocked attempts by foreign clubs to sign him.
A source close to him said: "The problem is Villa want high recovery on wages."
Lambert had previously said: "There's never been any fall-out, I just want to help him to get a loan move.
"It will be unlikely he will ever play here - he knows that."
